Forget what you know about online tutoring. Upswing is on a mission to end attrition. Upswing is redefining what it means to support student success. We partner with colleges to provide an easy-to-use virtual learning center for students, and real-time comprehensive analytics to their administrators. Each day, over 35,000 students have access to live, 24/7 tutoring via Upswing. Each student can choose which tutor to connect with among both their college support staff and Upswing's coaches. Sessions take place within Upswing -- complete with audio, video, document sharing, and a virtual whiteboard. Each session is recorded, aggregated, and reported back to admins so they can become equipped with the tools necessary to help fight student attrition. In the 1 year since our launch, more than 10% of North Carolina colleges have signed on with Upswing. That's over 1600 sessions and counting, and we are adding 3,000 new students every month!
