We are developing a novel system and method for mobile animal surveillance and distress monitoring, including the detection of colic in horses. Our non-invasive device/system will analyze real-time behavioral patterns and biometrics in horses to enable early invention by caretakers when equine distress is detected. Delay of invention has a direct and negative impact on QOL and survival outcomes.
