Local Food Roots is a B2B marketplace designed for the local food industry. Our goal is to create a streamlined process for local food buyers to connect with local suppliers. The site allows the suppliers to list available food, sell them online, and track deliveries and sales. The inverse relationship for buyers is that they can not only purchase items available online, but they can also list products they desire. The payment system is easy. Suppliers pay a monthly fee to list their products. Buyers pay a transactional fee based on the dollar amount. This insures that costs are covered on both end of the product.
